South Central Preschool Receives 2017 Best of Greenwich Award

South Central Preschool Receives 2017 Best of Greenwich Award

Greenwich Award Program Honors the Achievement

GREENWICH June 1, 2017 -- South Central Preschool has been selected for the 2017 Best of Greenwich Award in the Preschool category by the Greenwich Award Program.

Each year, the Greenwich Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Greenwich area a great place to live, work and play.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2017 Greenwich Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Greenwich Award Program and data provided by third parties.

About Greenwich Award Program

The Greenwich Award Program is an annual awards program honoring the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the Greenwich area. Recognition is given to those companies that have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value.

The Greenwich Award Program was established to recognize the best of local businesses in our community. Our organization works exclusively with local business owners, trade groups, professional associations and other business advertising and marketing groups. Our mission is to recognize the small business community's contributions to the U.S. economy.

Traveling Vietnam War Memorial Educational Opportunity

On June 22-25 Bellevue will be very honored to host the Traveling Vietnam War Memorial Wall.  I know that school is not in session but still want to extend an invitation to any student groups who may want to attend an educational session on June 24 8:00 AM to Noon
.  This is an extraordinary event which offers those who may not be able to visit the Vietnam War Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. the opportunity to see it closer to home.  Parents are also invited to bring their children to the event anytime during June 22-25.  If you have any student groups that would like to visit for an educational session on June 24 8:00-Noon you can contact Kenn Rospert at  419-217-7154 or e mail Rospert@ hmcltd.net to sign up for a time slot.  I have also provided some links regarding information on the Traveling Vietnam War Memorial as well as educational links with specific lesson plans about the Vietnam War Era.
When school groups visit The Wall That Heals (TWTH), students will experience: ?
Reflection at the Wall and exploration of its design
Discussion of what purpose memorials serve (~20 minutes) ?
Exploration of historic artifacts and Faces on The Wall at the Education Center trailer (~20 minutes) Investigation of exhibit panels that give information on the history of the war, era, and the memorial (~20 minutes)
