South Central FFA attends Soils Contest

 

On September 22, 2011, South Central FFA students attended the Huron County soils contest. The rural soils team included David Seidel, Megan Cornish, Greg Cornish, Amy Gannett, LeeAnn Montgomery, Carrie Lortcher, Bethany Lortcher and Rebeka Mikalacki. The team placed 2nd overall with Amy Gannett placing 9th overall, LeeAnn placing 7th overall and Rebeka Mikalacki placing 1st overall. The urban team included Dakota Jones, Ashley Gordon, Madison Ott, Karlie Conaway, Zeb Burton, Sara Gannett, Marcus Obermiller, Summer Long, Kallie Copsey, Sabrina Jacobs and Quincey Patterson. The team placed 3rd overall with Zeb Burton placing 10th overall and Quincey Patterson placing 3rd overall. Both teams will move onto District 2 Soils on September 23. Congratulations to both teams!

On September 23, 2011, South Central FFA students attend the District 2 soils contest. The rural soils team included David Seidel, LeeAnn Montgomery, Amy Gannett, and Rebeka Mikalacki. The team placed 4th overall. The urban team included Quincey Patterson, Zeb Burton, Dakota Jones and Marcus Obermiller. The team placed 3rd overall with Quincey Patterson placing 4th overall. Both teams will move onto State Soils on October 8th. Congratulations to both teams!
