South Central FFA Hosts Greenhand Camp

Greenhand camp was held on September 25^th through September 26^th at Camp Conger in North Fairfield Ohio. Greenhand camp is a leadership camp for freshmen or 1^st year members of FFA. There were five schools that attended, South Central, Monroeville, Upper Sandusky, Mapleton and Carey.  This year Amy Jo Frost and Dustin Holman were the two state FFA camp staff. During their time the members learned about teamwork and goals. They also learned about different opportunities they will have in FFA. Also, they learned about CDE’s they can participate in along with Agriculture Education classes. Along with all the serious learning they also played different games to help them meet new people that were at camp. It was a fun weekend filled with learning and new experiences. The greenhands from South Central that attended were Autumn Marsollet, Kallie Copsey, Greg Cornish, Dana Leisure, Ashley Gordon, Noelle Conly ,Caleb Rose, Gang-Hyun-Yoon, Josh Laser, Zeb Burton, Karlie Conaway, Sabrina Jacobs, Chris Didion, Cameron Lloyd, Amanda McGahhey, Bethany Lortcher, Madison Ott, Matt Burnsworth, Quincey Patterson, Levi Oney, Jacob Glowinsky,  Sarah Nelson, Cole Brusacorum. Counselors from South Central were Justin Button, David Seidel, Amy Gannett, Megan Cornish, David Allison, and Sara Gannett.
