Traveling Vietnam War Memorial Educational Opportunity
On June 22-25 Bellevue will be very honored to host the Traveling Vietnam War Memorial Wall. I know that school is not in session but still want to extend an invitation to any student groups who may want to attend an educational session on June 24 8:00 AM to Noon
. This is an extraordinary event which offers those who may not be able to visit the Vietnam War Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. the opportunity to see it closer to home. Parents are also invited to bring their children to the event anytime during June 22-25. If you have any student groups that would like to visit for an educational session on June 24 8:00-Noon you can contact Kenn Rospert at 419-217-7154 or e mail Rospert@ to sign up for a time slot. I have also provided some links regarding information on the Traveling Vietnam War Memorial as well as educational links with specific lesson plans about the Vietnam War Era.
When school groups visit The Wall That Heals (TWTH), students will experience: ?

Discussion of what purpose memorials serve (~20 minutes) ?
