South Central High School
Exam Week Schedule
1/4/21-1/8/21

South Central High School will be on a modified schedule in order to facilitate the taking of the “year-long” class semester exam as well as the transition of the semester classes to the scheduled second semester.  Please listen carefully and/or read carefully as this one-call will be posted to the high school webpage and district Facebook page for review.

Monday, January 4th - all A-K students are expected to report to school for on-campus exam review, All L-Z students are expected to review remotely following teacher instruction through Google Classroom and/or email.  The assigned tasks will count toward attendance.

Tuesday, January 5th - all L-Z students are expected to report to school for on-campus exam review, All A-K students are expected to review remotely following teacher instruction through Google Classroom and/or email.  Assigned tasks will count toward attendance.

Wednesday, January 6th - students will report to class for their assigned ODD period exams following the guidelines outlined in the “Semester Exam Late Arrival - Early Release Form” distributed to students before Christmas break.  Please know all semester class students are expected to report to class for instruction.

Thursday, January 7th -  students will report to class for their assigned EVEN period exams following the guidelines outlined in the “Semester Exam Late Arrival - Early Release Form” distributed to students before Christmas break.  Please know all semester class students are expected to report to class for instruction.

Friday, January 8th - all 9-12 students are assigned to remote learning as outlined by District’s Phase B plan.

Finally just a couple of brief reminders and clarifying items.

  1. All middle school students in high school classes will follow the middle school schedule for exam week and instruction of their high school teachers for specific needs of their high school exam.

  1. Parents, it is critical that students understand the expectations are not like last spring.  The district expectations for remote learning have daily requirements for classes which will count toward grades and attendance as outlined in the “Remote Learning Teacher Expectation Document” This document was emailed to all parents so please review this with your child.
