Dear Parents or Guardians:                                                                                                          April 9, 2021

As testing approaches, we are trying to motivate the students to do well on the state assessments.  One of the ways we are motivating the students is to do a spirit tunnel on the day of each test.  As the students come to school, we are hoping to line the sidewalk (social distanced, of course) and cheer them on to success on the test.   We invite you to be a part of the excitement.  If you would like to be a part of the spirit tunnel, please arrive at the school by 7:15 on April 20th (5,7,8) April 21st (6,7,8), April 29th (5,8), and May 4th (5,7,8) and May 5th (6, 7, 8).                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Thanks for all you do!

  • Congratulations to the 6th graders who graduated from DARE.  Friday afternoon we held the graduation ceremony.  If you missed it there is a link available to watch it.
  • Monday, April 12 Over the next couple of weeks, we will be allowing student to wear athletic pants/shorts (if they choose).  This is an item we are looking at changing in the handbook.  If we do not have any issues, we will extend it through the end of the year and make a recommendation to change the handbook for next year to allow athletic pants/shorts.  ALL other dress code rules apply…so no holes, waistline must be at the waist, and front and back need to be covered when wearing leggings.
