South Central Elementary School

Firefighters from Greenwich and North Fairfield payed a visit to South Central Elementary during Fire Prevention Week.  The firefighters reviewed the importance of fire safety including how having fresh batteries in smoke detectors can save lives.  The students were also able to have a close up look at the fire trucks and equipment the firefighters wear.  I wanted to thank the firefighters for taking time on their days off to speak with our students.  We appreciate all that you do to keep our communities safe!
