Transitional Kindergarten Explores Outside

This morning our transitional kindergarten students went on a hunt outside for signs of spring. The students were very excited to walk outside and explore! They even used some of their senses in order to observe. They saw birdhouses, buds on the trees and green grass. They heard birds chirping, tractors working in the fields and kids playing outside. After going outside, the students came in and drew a picture of what they observed. The pictures were then labeled, and will be collected to make a class book for their classroom library center.
