ATHLETIC BOOSTERS NEEDED!
ATHLETIC BOOSTERS NEEDED!
The current Athletic Booster officers have committed to serve for the 2016-2017 school year. All of our Athletic Booster officers will be stepping down at the conclusion of the 2016-2017 school year.  We will need at least 2-3 new volunteers for the 2017-2018 school year to keep the Athletic Boosters program up and running. This would be a great time for parents or community volunteers to join the Boosters and learn what it takes to run the program the following year. Please contact Mike West at 419-663-1129 if you are interested in volunteering as a Booster.

Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the bus survey this past school year. We appreciate the time and interest that you took to complete our bus survey. We have analyzed the costs associated with a dual bus run and a single bus run; as well as reviewed all of the survey responses. I wanted to let you know that at this time the S C Board of Education has decided to stay with the dual bus run for the 2016-2017 school year. However, I can assure you that the conversation concerning whether we should remain with a dual bus run, or return to a single bus run, will continue as we seek to make an informed decision that will benefit our S C students and community.

Please direct an questions, comments, or concerns to me at Mhasselbusch@south-central.org.

Spread the word: Kids eat free this summer!

This summer, the Summer Food Service Program is providing children with free, healthy meals, and we need your help spreading the word to families and students. It's easy to participate and no sign up is required. Simply call 1-866-3-HUNGRY or visit education.ohio.gov/KidsEat for meal times and locations.

The program ensures children ages 18 and younger continue to receive nutritious meals during the summer break from school, when they do not have access to school breakfast or lunch. Children with disabilities who are on approved individualized education programs may participate through age 21. The Ohio Department of Education administers the program with funding from the U.S. Department of Education.
