Assessment Feedback
As many of you know, there is much discussion, misconceptions, and concerns over Standardized Testing. Therefore, we will use this form to collect the specific concerns so we can accurately address each one. Our parents, community, and staff have invested a lot to keep our district special and strong. Thank you for your confidence in our professional educators to effectively answer your questions and to prepare your children for the future. This form will open until Friday, March 27th. One submittal per household. 
Power Lifting Team
Congratulations to the South Central Power Lifting Team! The girls team finished in 3rd place overall and broke SC record of total pounds lifted with 5,115 lbs. Congratulations to our two state champs, Samantha Jayes and Emily Worthington and our three runners up, Grace Antill, Lexi Adams, and Skye Mills.

SC Receives National Recognition
The NAMM Foundation has recognized South Central for its outstanding commitment to music education with a Best Communities for Music Education (BCME) designation. South Central joins 388 districts across the country in receiving the prestigious distinction in 2015, and is the only school in Huron County to be so honored. 
Calamity Day Make-Up
Due to the number of calamity days we have had thus far this year, we need to make-up days.  Those dates are Monday, April 6th, Thursday, May 28th, and Friday, May 29th. Teacher work days will be June 1st and June 2nd. 
Lady Trojans
The South Central Girls Varsity basketball team has been nominated for TEAM OF THE YEAR on JJHuddle. The winner will be decided by a fan-generated vote. The winner will receive a large personalized basketball trophy from the National Guard. Voting ends March 18th. Click here to vote. 
Congratulations to all of the wrestlers on a great showing at the Sectional Tournament.  Advancing to the District Tournament for the Trojans are T Verhovec (126lbs. 4th Place), D Blanton (132lbs. 3rd Place), and C Conaway (220lbs. Sectional Champion).
