Ohio History Connection's "Open Doors" program

(CEDARVILLE, Ohio)— As part of the Ohio History Connection's "Open Doors" program, Mike and Fran DeWine are opening their home in Cedarville -- the former home of Civil War journalist and vice-presidential candidate Whitelaw Reid -- to the public for tours on Sunday, September 18th, from 1pm to 3pm

The DeWines' home, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1823, by Whitelaw's father Robert Reid.   The DeWines have lived in the home since 1974.

WHERE:     2587 Conley Road, Cedarville, Ohio WHEN:       Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 1-3 p.m.  There is no charge to the public.

Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying Report Pursuant to O.R.C. Section 3313.666 (B)

(10), below is the semiannual report to the South Central Board of Education. This

report is being posted on the district’s website to the extent permitted by ORC Section

2219.321 and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.

 

This report includes any incidents that occurred during the 2015-2016 school year.

 

South Central Elementary School

0 reports of harassment/intimidation/bullying were registered with principal Nate Richards during the 2015-2016 school year.

 

South Central Middle School

3 reports of harassment/intimidation/bullying were registered with principal Alicia McKee, during the 2015-16 school year. Details of each complaint are on file in Mrs. McKee’s office. Each report was thoroughly investigated and appropriate disciplinary action was administered as appropriate.

 

South Central High School

0 reports of harassment/intimidation/bullying were registered with principal T J Hellickson, during the 2015-2016 school year.

Thank you for responding so quickly to our School Uniform Survey. I want to share with you the following survey results:

·         107 parents (25%) voted in favor of a school uniform.

·         302 parents (72%) voted not in favor of a school uniform.

·         14 parents (3%) voted that they were not sure whether they supported a school uniform.

At this time, we will not move towards implementing a school uniform based on our parent responses.
