South Central High School

Our academic challenge wrapped up a strong year.  The team consists of Senior captain and 4-year letter-winner Autumn Moore, Chloe Fry (11th), Karlee McAvoy (11th), Cheyanne Coffman (11th), Olivia Hudson (10th), William Kale (10th), and Grace Rhode (9th).   The team had a full successful season coming off a year of only three matches due to pandemic restrictions.  The students were victorious against their competition during two different matches this year and finished with 187 cumulative points.  It was a close race into the finals where the top 5 teams compete in a playoff round and championship but unfortunately, our team fell 25 points short of that opportunity.  Advisor, Tricia Fickiesen, is proud of their efforts and hopes the underclassmen will continue working on the material throughout the summer in preparation for another great season next year.
