Friday Notes

Dear Parents or Guardians:                                                                                  August 25, 2023

Welcome Back to another great year!  We are so excited to have your student with us and look forward to working with you to make their education here at SCMS the best it can be.  Every Friday I send out “Friday Notes” via an email blast.  I also post them on the website.  Below you will find other ways to stay connected to your child and their teachers as we journey through the 2023-24 school year together.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Thanks for all you do!

                                                                                                                                                    Mrs. McKee

  • IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:  We are starting a new behavior system here at the Middle School.  Students will be given two warnings in the classroom and then will be expected to call home from the classroom to report to you their behavior.  We are hoping that given your support many students can avoid an office referral, however, if after calling home their behavior doesn’t change they will be sent to the office and start on the progressive discipline track.  This system is level one behaviors only.  Other behaviors may result in an immediate write-up.  So, please answer the phone and help support us.
