NEW NEWS

  • October 14: JH VB Conference Tournaments.  7th grade is at Western Reserve and 8th grade is at Monroeville.
  • To celebrate Red Ribbon Week, students are asked to wear red on Wednesday October 18th. The Student Council will be providing some activities to do this week as well to encourage students to live a drug free life!
  • See the attached flyer for an upcoming community parent night on The Digital Empowerment Project.  Students will earn points for their School “Family” for anyone who attends.
  • Tickets for the SCHS musical, The Music Man (Nov. 3 & 4), are on sale now! All tickets are $10. To reserve your spot call 419-752-3354 Ext. 88880.  
  • The South Central Teachers Association would like to congratulate the following students for being selected as Student of the Month.  Your teachers have recognized the hard work, kindness, and effort you show at school. Keep up the good work.  Congratulations to:

  • Malley’s Candy Bars are currently being sold for $2.  See a 6-8 grader to purchase your sweet treat!
  • ON SALE NOW Until Oct. 31 is the band’s freshly made Thanksgiving Amish pies. See any band student (grades 5-12) to order a pie, or a few! Pies will be delivered on Wednesday, Nov. 22 before Thanksgiving. The large 9” pies are $15 each or 2/$28.
  • After school tutoring has begun for students in grades 6-8.  Please make sure your student has their permission slip filled out so they can stay to receive extra help.
  • Remember to access Progressbook to check your student’s grades and if they have any missing assignments.  Eligibility for sports is checked weekly.  There is now an app for Progressbook on your mobile device as well.
