            It’s hard to believe that this year is winding down already.  There are so many activities in the upcoming months and I would love to have you be a part of them!  Please check out the newsletter and make sure you are checking Friday Notes weekly.

NEW NEWS

·      April 8: NO SCHOOL.  Eclipse glasses went home with all students on April 3rd.   

·      April 11: JH Track Tri-Meet at St. Paul.

·      State testing starts on April 5th.  This year we are having a Superhero Theme.  Students are encouraged to dress the part on testing days.  “I LEARN.  What’s your super power?”  Please ask your students about their testing days and make sure they get a good night’s sleep, their Chromebook is charged and eat a good breakfast. 

·      April 13: Jazz Festival from 5-7pm in the cafetorium.  Tickets are still available!

·      April 20: Band Booster Raffle at Greenwich Coonhunters Club

·      April 25: Student, Parent and Chaperone meeting will be at 6:00PM. If attending the DC trip someone must attend this meeting.

·      Farewell Dinner invitations went home with students TODAY.  Please ask your 8th grader about the invitation.  RSVP’s need returned by April 19th.  8th graders are also asked to submit a baby picture for the video to Mrs. Kluge.  The Farewell Dinner will be held on May 3rd.

  • A new place for homework has been created and will be added to each day. It is on the south-central.org website. From the homepage, click on "menu" and scroll down, you will see a link for all 5-8 homework.
