Happy St. Patrick’s Day!  With spring right around the corner, I’m sure most of you are ready for some warmer weather.  I know I am!  As it warms up, encourage your kids to get outside and off technology (gaming and social media).  Please make sure you are having talks with your student about their digital footprint and being aware of their presence on social media.

NEW NEWS

  • March 13-14: Dinner Theatre

  • We are looking for 7th grade parents to help with the 8th grade Farewell Dinner on May 1.  If interested contact the Middle School office at 419-752-0011.

  • We are in need of parent volunteers for our OST World Series.  The dates we need help with are: April 7, 20, and 24 from 12:40-2:30 and April 13 from 7:30-9:15.   Let the office know if you are available.

  • March 19: Grade Cards go home.

  • Congratulations to our JH/HS Band and the HS Choir on their Superior Ratings at Districts and making it to State.

  • We are looking for the following for our OST World Series.  If you would like to make a donation please bring it to the office: foam baseballs, playdoh, sand (need about a gallon size bag), dawn dish soap, baby oil, vegetable oil, corn syrup, small buckets and empty tissue boxes.

  • March 21: OMEA Solo & Ensemble at New London

  • Students need to be checking Google Classroom daily when they are not here for missing assignments.

  • Follow us on twitter @scms_trojans.

  • Parents can get updates from the classroom and communicate with the teachers via Parent Square.  Information on how to access was sent via Final Forms.

  • All Middle School homework can now be found on  https://www.south-central.org/page/jhwork or by visiting

    under the Middle School menu tab labeled 5-8 homework link.

  • Remember to access Progressbook to check your student’s grades and if they have any missing assignments.  Track eligibility is checked weekly.

  • Tutoring will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-3:30 and there is transportation available to those who need it.  Students need a permission slip filled out in order to stay.
