We had a wonderful Farewell Dinner for the 8th graders last Friday.  Over 100 people were in attendance.  Tensley Sage and Emmi McGahhey gave a very nice class address and everyone enjoyed a brief preview of the 8th grade video.  With the end of the year drawing near there are many activities and meetings coming up so be sure to check the list below.

NEW NEWS

  • May 10: Farewell Dance from 7-9. 

  • May 13: Coaster Carnival: from 5:30-7 in the gymnasium

  • May 14: MS Choir Concert at 7:00.  Report time for students is 6:15.

  • May 16:  7th and 8th grade Cedar Point field trip; 6th grade field trip to Adventure Play

  • May 18: 5-12 Band Concert at 2:00

  • The Yearbook Staff will be pre-selling the yearbooks through May 28. A paperback yearbook will be available for grades Pre-K-8 for $20.00. A hardback yearbook will be available for grades 9-12 for $40.00. Both yearbooks can be purchased for $50.00. Use our pay schools link at https://www.payschoolsevents.com/events/details/39565 or order and pay online or print the form found at www.south-central.org and return it to the school with check made out to SC Yearbook. 

 

News Worth Repeating

  • We are looking for parents to help with field day on May 22nd.  If interested contact the Middle School office at 419-752-0011.

  • Remember to access Progressbook to check your student’s grades and if they Reminder that we have used ALL 5 of our calamity days.  Should we have another snow day, students will be expected to log in and complete assignments at home in order to count as attending for the day.  If students are sick, parents should call in and report them as such as they would any other school day.

  • Remember to access Progressbook to check your student’s grades and if they have any missing assignments.  Eligibility for sports is checked weekly.  There is now an app for Progressbook on your mobile device as well.
