There will be an OHSAA Parent Meeting on Monday, November 3rd, in the High School Cafeteria at 6:00 pm for all parents who have a son and/or daughter in grades 7-12 participating in a winter sport this season. Your attendance is required if you did NOT attend the meeting for the fall sports season.

Field Trip for all Freshman
On Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 8 am to 11:30 am all freshman students will attend FutureMakers. This event is held at EHOVE and features 30 area companies that will educate 9th graders from Huron, Erie, and Ottawa counties about viable trades and manufacturing career pathways. This is a field trip for all 9th grade students, it is not a recruiting trip for EHOVE, it is a career exploration experience.
If you or your student have already turned in their yellow hard copy permission slip or digitally given permission through the Google Form Link then they will have permission to attend this event.
We want all 9th grade students to attend this meaningful career exploration experience, please use this link to give permission to all Guidance Field Trips for the 25-26 school year. You will be notified before your student attends an event.
If you choose for your student to NOT attend please use this Opt-Out form.

High School Parents and Guardians,
Please be sure to check your email for a message from Mrs. Baker regarding the Guidance Field Trip Permission Slip.
We are asking parent permission for students to go on guidance trips throughout the year. You will still be notified of when the field trips are going to take place as you did before, but signing this will allow students the opportunity to attend multiple guidance field trips. Opt-out information will be provided for each event if you choose for your student to not attend a particular event. Information will be sent through Final Forms or other electronic school communication tools to notify you of each event. This will eliminate the need for multiple permission slips throughout this school year.

Students will receive a yellow hard copy of the permission slip today during advisory but I am also sharing a google form link here if it makes the permission process easier you may given permission digitally. Students and parents only need to utilize one option for the permission slip, either the yellow hard copy or the digital version. Students should turn in the yellow hard copy to the office or Mrs. Baker.
