SC School and Community,  Tomorrow morning (Friday, Oct. 22), our South Central Marching Band will be LIVE on Fox8 Kickin' it with Kenny performing along with the Willard Marching Band. If you would like to tune in during the first two periods (or 7:30 am - 9:00 am).  LIVE STREAM LINK https://fox8.com/on-air/live-streaming/ Below is the segment schedule: 6:55 AM - Kenny welcomes SC & Willard Bands (both bands play warmup) 7:20 AM - South Central performs their fight song "Victors!", (Kenny will interact with band, then band plays) 7:45 AM - SC & Willard performs together playing "Crocodile Rock" 7:50 AM - Willard performs their fight song, (Kenny will interact with band, then band plays) 8:10 AM - SC & Willard performs together playing "Hey Jude" 8:15 AM - SC & Willard performs together playing "Hang On Sloopy" 8:40 AM - SC & Willard performs together playing "Fight Song" (by Rachel Platten) 8:55 AM - SC & Willard marches together across Rock Hall playing "Seven Nation Army" Fox8 requires bands to be 100+ in size in order to perform live. A producer from Fox8 reached out to me last Spring and invited us. This is the first time in their history allowing two bands to perform jointly to make the numbers and they are very excited for this episode. Our students will be arriving at school about 3:30 AM, traveling to Cleveland, performing, then returning to SC to travel to Plymouth and support our football team as we beat Plymouth!! It will surely be a very long day for our students!!! We are very grateful for this opportunity and hope you can join us tomorrow morning when you wake up and/or in your classrooms!
